High 5 Games is seeking a skilled and strategic Media Buyer to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is critical to the success of our player acquisition efforts, requiring a combination of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and collaborative leadership. Initially, you will work closely with our agency partners to execute impactful campaigns while gaining a comprehensive understanding of our media strategy and performance metrics.
As we grow and refine our marketing operations, you will take on greater responsibility for in-house media buying, developing and implementing best practices that align with our business goals. Your efforts will directly shape how we attract and retain players across key markets. You will have the opportunity to optimize campaigns across a variety of channels, including programmatic, paid social, search, and affiliate marketing.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Campaign Execution and Optimization: Strategize, execute, and fine-tune paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Gradually take ownership of campaigns as we transition media buying operations in-house.
- Channel Ownership: Lead performance marketing efforts across key platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Programmatic DSPs, Affiliates, and emerging channels, with a focus on driving player acquisition and engagement.
- Targeted Audience Acquisition: Use demographic insights—such as geography, household income, age, and interests—to design and optimize campaigns aimed at acquiring high-quality players who align with our revenue goals.
- Budget Management: Strategically allocate media budgets, monitor spend, and optimize investments to achieve maximum ROI while driving sustainable growth.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Conduct detailed performance analyses across all campaigns, using key metrics to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and scalability. Implement a test-and-learn approach to continually improve campaign effectiveness.
- Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital advertising trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes, and incorporate new strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards and weekly reports to monitor media performance, track KPIs, and communicate results to stakeholders. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with creative, data, and product teams to develop impactful campaign assets, ensure proper attribution, and support overall marketing objectives.
- Market Expansion: Customize campaigns to resonate with diverse audiences in the US, Canada, and European markets, taking into account cultural and market-specific nuances.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to think outside of the box, be innovative, adaptable and come up with creative solutions to changing business challenges
Education & Experience:
- Experience working in an online, gaming, or fast-moving industry required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role in the areas of marketing technology and paid digital media.
- Creative operations, marketing project management and technical task management experience
- Working knowledge of digital advertising, marketing tracking/reporting, and mar-tech systems
