Manager Of Product Engineering (Remote)

At Solvo Global we are looking for a Manager of Product Engineering to work remotely and join our growing team with one of the most important North American Clients of our company.

The Manager of Product Engineering will oversee the activity of software engineering resources within the Development organization. This includes staffing, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of coding standards and practices for isolved’s products throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This position will directly supervise 1 to 3 scrum teams of software engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains software engineering staff.
• Conducts weekly or bi-weekly 1 on 1s with reports.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Communicates coding standards and parameters to QA, product development, and product management teams.
• Provide mentorship and practical development advice to team members
• Ensure best practices including writing unit tests and performing code reviews
• Analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems and recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
• Participates in code development, as necessary.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Requirements:

• Experience in the software development field
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience managing development teams and processes using Agile methodology.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps (or other software project management tool), Visual Studio, and other related development tools.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft development technologies including .NET, Azure services, among others.
• FLUENT communication skills in English, 95% and above. Required.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering Human Capital Management software
• Experience delivering SaaS based solutions
• Computer Related or Business degree preferred
