Job Title: Operations Manager

Reports To: Dealing Desk Director
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the company’s daily financial operations, ensuring all client-related financial procedures and transactions are conducted accurately and in compliance with Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) regulations. This role involves overseeing daily settlements, validating client contracts, and coordinating with the Compliance team to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations and Settlements
Oversee daily financial procedures, including settlements, accounting restrictions, and transaction processing for the licensed body’s clients.
Ensure all client financial activities align with SCA regulations and internal policies to maintain operational compliance.
Contract Review and Validation
Review client contracts thoroughly, confirming their validity and ensuring all contractual content complies with regulatory and operational standards.
Coordinate with the Compliance Officer to confirm that client contracts meet all SCA requirements and the licensed body’s obligations.
Coordination with Compliance
Work closely with the Compliance Officer to implement operational procedures that align with SCA regulations.
Assist in addressing any compliance-related issues within operations, ensuring prompt resolution and ongoing compliance with regulatory standards.
Policy Implementation and Oversight
Develop and enforce policies and procedures for daily operations to support smooth transaction processing and regulatory compliance.
Ensure that the operations team follows updated procedures, fostering an environment focused on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial markets or a relevant field.
Alternatively, a diploma or equivalent qualification with at least 10 years of experience in financial markets or related fields.
Core Competencies:
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of SCA regulations and their application within financial operations.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing contracts and financial settlements to ensure regulatory compliance.
Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and enhance operational procedures for efficiency and alignment with SCA standards.
Coordination and Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work with the compliance team and communicate regulatory requirements effectively.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage daily operations, ensuring efficient and compliant financial processes.
