In Australia and New Zealand, IDEMIA’s Public Security & Identity Business Unit supports several blue-chip security customers that operate critical infrastructure and systems of national significance, underpinned by IDEMIA’s biometrics, digital security and cloud services. About the Role:
The System Administrator will provide Level 3 technical application support and guidance inside a team of System Administrators. You will be responsible for technical support escalation of IDEMIA’s applications and Level 3 support queues.
Working closely with IDEMIA’s technical support teams (Engineers, System Administrators) to ensure implementation of appropriate policies and procedures whilst adhering to ITSM framework.
Skills and experience
Software:
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working within the APS and ITIL environments
- Experience working in a level 1 service desk environment
- Strong technical ability in Software Application Support
- Strong ability for technical analysis and critical thinking to solve issues
- Broad knowledge of different technologies (Linux, Windows, Network, Oracle)
- Interest in learning a Linux environment.
Desirable:
- Experience using ITSM tool Service Now
- Previous experience in Biometrics Technologies.
- Experience in data extraction and reporting from relational databases.
- Virtualization experience, VMware or Citrix (Virtual Apps and Desktop)
- Good experience managing Windows environment, Win10, Server 12-19, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, Patch management.
- Knowledge of network protocols and administration (F5, Cisco)
- Infrastructure, Veeam, NetApp and backup solutions
- Knowledge of ISM compliance and cyber security practices
- ITIL 4 foundation
Mandatory:
- You must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this role.
- Ability to obtain and mandate AGSVA NV1 or higher security clearance is mandatory. Candidates with AGSVA Baseline or NV1 preferred.
