This full-time, remote position is open to candidates across the United States, offering flexible working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. OPSPROS is open to both contract and regular employment options, aiming to find the ideal fit for our team and the successful candidate.

Your Role:

As a Cloud Engineer at OPSPROS, you will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Your expertise will support our commitment to delivering scalable, reliable, and secure solutions to our clients, ensuring optimal performance and continuity of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high availability cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
• Deploy and debug cloud initiatives as needed, in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
• Work with security team to ensure that the cloud infrastructure is kept secure and up to date.
• Monitor cloud-based systems and solutions for performance, security, and cost optimizations.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud service provider environment: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of network fundamentals, web protocols, and security practices within cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing roles such as Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud services, including open source technology, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, and multiple cloud provider environments.
