Product Manager User Journey Discovery (Remote)

Join our innovative team as a Product Manager specializing in the critical “discovery” phase of the user journey. In this pivotal role, you will enhance user experiences within our Marketplace and Day 0 for our groundbreaking commercial product. Your contributions will be integral to our mission of developing a world-class Universal Cloud Platform, empowering platform engineers, DevOps teams, and developers in effectively managing their cloud environments constructed with Crossplane. Your primary responsibility will revolve around overseeing the Marketplace and Day 0 user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume ownership of the strategic roadmap for the Marketplace.
• Collaborate extensively with engineering teams to prioritize the product backlog and discern user requirements.
• Develop low-fidelity mockups and conduct in-depth explorations of end-user features.
• Partner closely with our Design team to create seamless user journeys.
• Align with the broader product team to ensure integrated roadmaps and planning.
• Work collaboratively with customer service teams to understand and react to customer feedback.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in Product Management, with a focus on SaaS UI-based products.
• A deep appreciation for Crossplane, along with a comprehensive understanding of its underlying open-source project and the challenges it addresses.
• A technical background as a developer, enabling you to utilize our products and code to experiment with new functionalities.
• Solid familiarity with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Experience in enterprise-level product management.
• At least 5 years of Product Management experience.
• Publicly accessible code samples on GitHub or GitLab (quality is not a concern for this role).
• A persistent mindset focused on finding improved solutions to challenges.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area.
• Extensive experience in enterprise product management.
