Ekta Solution is a business consulting firm that specializes in providing outsourcing services in legal, financial, and HR functions. This role involves supporting an IT company as a Third part Aggregator based in Noida.
**About the Role**
As a **Government Sales Account Manager**, you will be responsible for managing sales activities with government clients, handling tenders, and operating on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. Additionally, you will collaborate with a central government employees’ cooperative society to promote and sell products and services to government institutions.
**Qualifications**
1. Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Sales.
2. Over 5 years of experience in government sales or dealings.
3. Prior experience in sales or procurement roles within Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) is highly preferred.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
This role requires in-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, tendering procedures, and the GEM portal.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Government Sales Management**
– Identify, approach, and establish strong relationships with government departments, agencies, and institutions.
– Understand the specific needs of government clients and customize sales pitches accordingly.
– Promote the company’s products and services to government clients while ensuring consistent follow-ups to achieve sales targets.
2. **Tender Management**
– Monitor and track relevant government tenders and procurement opportunities.
– Prepare and submit comprehensive, competitive tender proposals within specified deadlines.
– Collaborate with internal teams to collect necessary information and documentation for tender submissions.
3. **Government E-Marketplace (GEM) Portal**
– Register and manage the company’s profile on the GEM portal to engage in online tenders.
– Monitor GEM portal notifications and participate in relevant e-tendering processes.
– Ensure compliance with GEM portal guidelines and regulations throughout the tendering process.
4. **Sales Strategy and Reporting**
– Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet sales targets and maximize revenue from government clients.
– Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and government policies affecting sales.
– Generate regular reports on sales performance, pipeline progress, and new opportunities.
