Role Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager with an AI first approach to digital marketing. You will build awareness and scale demand programs. We are a seed stage startup with no lead generation or marketing automation infrastructure – this will be your responsibility. You will plan and execute marketing programs across a variety of channels – email, webinars, events, website, paid media, through and to partners, and more. You will assist the CEO with management of the marketing team and external contractors. This is a unique and highly meaningful opportunity to define the demand creation, lead generation and marketing function and greatly increase revenue. We prefer to hire a person with a disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the marketing capability of our startup
- Collaborate with sales to understand the appeal of our products in various markets
- Serve in a product management function by maintaining an understanding of the technical capability, user benefits, and competitiveness of our products so that you can craft the messaging and strategy necessary to grow sales
- Develop and lead global marketing campaigns that generate leads and increase conversion throughout the sales funnel
- Lead campaign content development, including customer success stories, user-generated content (reviews and advocates), content for high-quality leads (i.e. Buyer’s Guide, commissioned reports), and product videos
- Manage and execute marketing programs such as field marketing and conferences, webinars, account-based marketing campaigns, lead nurture programs, social media events and activities, industry publications, etc.
- Lead production of product collateral
- Operationalize lead capture and sales follow-up from field marketing events, gated content, and other inbound leads
- Spearhead efforts to build, segment, and maintain the data quality of our marketing database
- Maintain key marketing channels, including the website and social channels, and optimize for lead generation
- Manage SEO performance of digital assets
- Identify new B2B lead channels and communicate to key stakeholders and leadership
- Assist with trade show strategy and booth design and communications
- Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns strategies, social media platforms and making recommendations for improvement. (Include analyzing the marketing analytics and data)
- Manage outside contractors (Upwork, Fiverr, etc) for branding, graphic design, and creative
- Manage outside market analysts and PR relationships with industry personalities, reviewers, and influencers
- Guide offer development so that landing page hooks deliver results
- Working knowledge of the company software will be helpful. Google Workspace (Gmail, Meet, Drive, Docs, Sheets), Odoo, and Trello.
Qualifications:
- Eager, easy to work with, and ready to aggressively scale the startup
- 5+ years of marketing experience and > 1 year of implementing AI in marketing
- Flawless written English – AI help is expected
- B2B hardware marketing experience in a commercial company or social enterprise
- Demonstrated experience hitting target goals in the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Experience developing hardware brochures, packaging design, and related collateral.
- Experience managing a portfolio of products and evaluating customer needs related to new product additions.
- Experience launching new hardware products.
- Employed data-driven, digital first strategies for high quality lead generation
- Experience utilizing marketing tools (Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, etc.)
- Experience leveraging AI for content creating, affiliate marketing, and ads
- Experience using temporary consultants via Upwork or Fiverr for marketing goals
- Excellent performance in directly, not by delegating, creating materials using relevant software (Google Bard, Canva, Photoshop, Google Slides)
- College degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An equivalent combination of less formal training and experience will be considered.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills. You must have experience working on a remote team and be capable of excellent communication and coordination with remote tools. You must have previous success with communication across language and cultural barriers. Experience with marketing and sales outside your first or second language is preferred.
- Willing and capable to travel as needed. You must have a valid passport. Prior travel to the EU and USA is preferred.
- A working knowledge of French, Arabic, or other major languages is preferred.
- Hubspot certification is a strong plus
- Healthcare marketing experience is a plus
