We are seeking an experienced Manager – Scholarships for a 3-month contract based in Deakin, ACT, with an immediate start. This role offers the opportunity to work in-office with potential flexibility to work from home.
About the role:
The Manager, Scholarships will be responsible for the deliverables of a large number of Australian Government funded scholarship programs, as well as the Grants and Awards.

Our client is a not-for-profit health organisation they are a national voice of nurses focused on policy, advocacy, and education to advance the status, recognition, and respect for the industry.
Duties include:
- Ensure compliance with Australian Government contractual requirements.
- Lead and manage the team to deliver the full scholarship administration cycle, from applications to ongoing support for scholarship holders.
- Collaborate with the Manager – Marketing and Communications to ensure timely advertising and promotion of scholarship programs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate scholarship programs to achieve strategic goals.
- Accurately collect and manage data related to scholarships, preparing required reports for Government stakeholders.
- Assess and enhance systems, including IT platforms, to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee departmental staff, ensuring effective management and development.
To be successful you will have:
- Business degree and a high level of demonstrated practical experience in this arena.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, managing complex budgets, and timely reports.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and met contractual requirements of government contracts.
- Ability to prepare funding proposals/tenders for new and existing scholarship programs.
- Participated in professional development relevant to role.
- A demonstrated ability in high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Â
