We are in search of a skilled and motivated Project Manager to spearhead and oversee high-stakes projects within a federal government context. This role requires an individual with a robust background in government acquisition processes, exceptional technical capabilities, and a demonstrable history of achieving successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication skills and a steadfast commitment to ensuring project success through strategic planning, adept problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise intricate projects, guaranteeing that all objectives are fulfilled promptly and within budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with government personnel and stakeholders to realize project aims and cultivate strong alliances.
  • Offer expert technical counsel and planning to ensure projects align with set objectives.
  • Assess project performance, address issues efficiently, and recognize avenues for process enhancement.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Serve as the principal liaison to address government inquiries and deliver timely updates.
  • Identify and alleviate risks, notifying stakeholders of any contractual or programmatic issues.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related coursework from an accredited institution, OR 10 years of experience as a federal contract specialist in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in conducting quality management activities for government acquisitions and at least 5 years in developing acquisition policies and guidance.
  • Certifications: Possession of one or more of the following certifications:
  • DAWIA Level III
  • FAC-C Level III
  • NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
  • NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
