Full Stack Developer (Remote)

Job Summary:

AI Hustler is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in WordPress and API integration to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in evolving our existing WordPress-based platform into a fully functional gig economy marketplace, enabling the integration of AI Automated Freelancer tools. Your role will involve optimizing our current system, developing new features like a project management section, and building the API/SDK interface that allows AI service providers to integrate their solutions seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development & Optimization:

• Review and optimize the existing WordPress setup, including themes, plugins, and overall performance.
• Ensure the current MySQL database structure is optimized for scalability and efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance the payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal) and the wallet system.
• Implement security best practices within the WordPress environment to protect user data and ensure platform integrity.

Project Management Section Development:

• Design, develop, and integrate a project management section within the existing platform, enabling users to post, bid on, and manage projects.
• Ensure seamless integration of the project management section with existing payment, wallet, and dispute resolution systems.
• Implement user-friendly interfaces and communication tools for project management.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the project management section is visually appealing and provides an excellent user experience.

API/SDK Integration:

• Collaborate with the Backend Developer to integrate the API/SDK interface that allows AI service providers to plug their tools into the AI Hustler marketplace.
• Ensure the API/SDK is well-documented and easy for external developers to use.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing the API/SDK integration process, ensuring compatibility with the WordPress-based platform.

Backend Development:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Integrate third-party services, including payment gateways and messaging systems, to support key business processes.
• Collaborate with the Backend Developer to ensure backend processes, including order management and listener services, are integrated with the WordPress platform.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with the Cloud Architect & DevOps Engineer to ensure that cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices support the platform’s needs.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the codebase.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement security best practices across the frontend and backend development processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, to protect user data and maintain platform integrity.
• Regularly review and update security protocols to address emerging threats.

Testing & Debugging:

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the platform.
• Debug and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing, ensuring minimal disruption to the platform’s services.
• Continuously monitor the platform for performance issues and implement optimizations as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on WordPress development and optimization.
• Proven experience in developing and integrating APIs and SDKs.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL database management and optimization.

Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
• Experience with payment gateways, especially Stripe and PayPal.
• Familiarity with API/SDK development and integration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with project management tools or platforms like Freelancer.com.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.
• Understanding of security practices, including authentication, encryption, and compliance with data protection regulations.
