We’re looking for an Event and Project Specialist to manage the planning, organization, elevation and execution of Fry Love Express events for the system as well as supporting the field marketing team, as needed. This role is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of an event, including concept development, venue selection, communication, vendor management, budget oversight, logistics planning, and on-site execution, to ensure a successful and seamless experience for attendees and Fry Love Express driver.
This is a fully REMOTE position.
Position Accountabilities
- Mobile Marketing: Manager of the Fry Love Express (approx. 75% of role)
- Lead elevation and advancement of Fry Love Express (FLE) events in both quality, quantity, and enhanced Brand exposure.
- Increase efficiency & effectiveness of tour logistics and event selections.
- Provide flawless and consistent event contract execution, CMO approval and legal review
- Serves as the liaison between the Field team, legal department, and outside vendors on all FLE contracts, DOT requirements and regulations and event scheduling & management.
- Keep the FLE & Truck in excellent working order, appearance, and repair. Work with the drivers to maintain and improve all FLE equipment and allocate expenses to maintain budgets and maintain brand standards.
- Ordering supplies for all events, ensuring all events are fully prepared in product, packaging, and quality Brand ambassador staffing.
- Provide overall FLE budget, forecasting, and invoice management to ensure the FLE is on budget and executing against all objectives.
- Manage FLE website management, ensuring tour dates are constantly updated and the website is continuously improved to best showcase the FLE and the C/R brand.
- Responsible for ordering all FLE supplies and work in constant coordination with Event Manager on FLE tour/event preparation and execution.
- Expertly manage projects and create efficiencies, checklists, processes, and organizational systems for the Fry Love Express and Field Team
- Create, maintain and manage the Fry Love Express internal archive to include calendar, recaps, PowerPoints, pictures from all events, coupon redemption numbers, creative, contracts, pertinent FLE event information
- Be an initiative-taking highly engaged FLE point-person for all FLE matters (outside of driving) between Franchisees, FMMs, vendors, FLE drivers and cross-functional partners.
- Provide clear, consistent proactive communication at all times, regarding all FLE initiatives, events, activations, scheduling, issues, concerns, maintenance, ordering, etc.
- Event & Project Assistance
- Serves as a liaison for the field team within the marketing department to facilitate the development, execution, and distribution of marketing materials as required
- Assist field team with developing compelling and innovative market-wide events and creative to drive sales and brand awareness
- Support the Field Marketing Managers and be willing to “jump in” as needed
- Communications
- Provides day-to-day communications to field team from the FLE team with event updates, happenings in market and franchisee conversations
- Maintain regular communication with FLE Drivers, Franchisees, FMMs, NRO Manager, vendors, company operators, cross-functional partners, and direct supervisor
- Provide regular (minimum 2x/month and quarterly) written updates and pictures on FLE events and activations to field. Communications should include: number of people served at each event, number of coupons distributed, coupon redemption rate on coupons distributed to date, and how event was “plus-upped”
- Provide clear, consistent, proactive communication always, regarding all FLE initiatives, events, activations, scheduling, issues, concerns, maintenance, ordering, etc.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (4 year degree)
Experience
- Proven ability to expertly coordinate and manage multiple events, projects, people, and communication
- 3-5 years’ experience in Event Management, Field Marketing, QSR experience a strong plus
