Senior Finance Consultant (IFS)

What you’ll be doing:
- Work on more than one engagement at a time. Manage small engagements or a portion of a large engagement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the project plan for a project. This includes mentoring and coaching team members and preparing and assisting in the preparation of individual work plans.
- Within the assigned projects, oversee all project activities in the Finance module, leading to the implementation of the requirements.
- Demonstrate creativity and thought leadership and use experience in substantiating the proposed solutions to the client.
- Maintain and expand client contact at high levels and build credible relationships with key client personnel.
- Analyze the customer’s business processes.
- Propose and design solutions in IFS that best fit the business requirements of the customer.
- Assist the customer in testing and validating solutions.
- Prepare business process procedures, test scenarios, configuration/development documentation,
- Prepare user training materials and end-user documentation.
- Prepare functional/technical specification documents.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years prior work experience in an IFS consulting capacity (in Finance module)
- A degree in Finance/Accounting or recognized professional qualifications.
- Ability to work in teams – interpersonal skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to articulate ideas and opinions to all stakeholders.
- Be result oriented, with an ability to lead and work in teams.
- Leadership capabilities, result orientation, conceptual thinking, and innovative mindset
- Ability and willingness to take on new initiatives/technologies.
- Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with customers and internal project teams and management
- Strong customer service orientation
Preferred:
- General understanding of complementary modules of IFS.
