We’re rebooting under a new management team and a new vision – to lead the world’s imagination and dreams across the analogue/ digital divide. For generations, those imaginations and dreams have been trapped on paper in an analogue world with pen and ink. But now, with our digital pens whatever you write or draw in ink on paper is instantly brought to digital life on your phone. It’s kind of like magic! We’re excited about the road ahead and we have bold ambitions. It starts by creating a new brand for our products and shaping a new brand story. In the world of imagination, the creative opportunities are endless, and we’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Copywriter to join our dynamic team and help us build this new brand. In this role, you will craft compelling and engaging content that resonates with our target audience and drives brand awareness. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Director, you will collaborate closely with various internal and external teams, to build our new brand story and be the voice of the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and advertisements.
- Brand Voice Development: Help define and maintain the brand’s voice across all content, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall marketing strategy.
- Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience, and competitors to inform content creation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with in-house motion designer/art director to develop integrated campaign materials and ensure cohesive messaging.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and revise content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring a high standard of quality.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices in content creation to enhance online visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Feedback Incorporation: Respond to feedback from clients and stakeholders to refine and improve copy as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer psychology.
- Proficiency in SEO and content marketing strategies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with social media management and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
