Project Manager – Media Advertising Agency (Power BI Dashboard Development)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to provide critical support for an ongoing project at its key delivery stage. This role involves working closely with the project lead to ensure the successful delivery of a performance reporting dashboard using Power BI. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing agile workflows, using Jira, and overseeing daily and weekly tasks to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Support and Coordination

• Assist the project lead in managing the delivery of a Power BI performance dashboard.

• Maintain focus on key milestones and ensure adherence to the project timeline.

• Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, and media specialists.

2. Agile Delivery Management

• Oversee daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and productive.

• Monitor progress in Jira, ensuring all tasks, bugs, and improvements are tracked and up-to-date.

• Address and escalate project risks and blockers to the project lead as needed.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Support communication between the project lead and stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress and challenges.

• Document and track requirements to ensure all deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.

4. Dashboard Development Oversight

• Collaborate with the team to validate that the Power BI dashboard aligns with performance reporting needs.

• Ensure proper integration of data sources to provide actionable insights for advertising performance.

5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Assist in preparing and delivering project status updates and reports for stakeholders.

• Support the project lead in identifying and mitigating risks to ensure smooth delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on data-driven or analytics projects.

• Strong understanding of Power BI and performance reporting.

• Proficiency in Jira for agile task management.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in media or advertising agency environments.

• Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).

• Certification in Agile project management (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP).
