Position Title: Senior Salesforce Lightning Developer

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Washington, DC and Springfield, VA

Position Overview:

Indev is seeking a Senior Salesforce Lightning Developer to join our elite team of Salesforce aficionados. As a Lightning developer, you will play a pivotal role building new applications in the Salesforce platform. Your expertise will be crucial with designing, developing and deploying SF APIs to interact with external APIs and applications, all while embracing the Agile mindset to foster innovation and rapid adaptation. You will work in a cross-functional Agile/DevOps modeled team as a Salesforce Developer skilled in developing and Administering Salesforce Applications, supporting design and architecture, and providing operations and maintenance support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support discovery and engineering of technical requirements working in close collaboration with the product owner and business users

• Work closely with the Software Architect, Business Analyst, Developers and other technical team members, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts in developing solutions on the Salesforce platform

• Utilize workflow models to define individual states and transaction tasks and configure into Salesforce accordingly

• Integrate Salesforce Service Cloud with other external systems and applications, ensuring smooth data flow, interoperability, and alignment with program requirements

• Design user interfaces with Salesforce Lightning Web Components

• Implement multifactor authentication solution

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

• 8+ years functional experience

• 8+ years of specialized experience (5+ focused on Salesforce development using Apex and Visualforce, 3+ implementing in Platform, Service and Experience Cloud)

• Keen understanding of state and workflow models and how to configure in Salesforce

• Working knowledge of cloud service and web service environments

• Experience in additional development languages and formats such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON

• Experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platform

• Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions with other applications, APIs and platforms

• Proficient with Lightning Web Components (LWC) framework and Experience Cloud

• Hands on knowledge and experience working with CI/CD pipelines; including technologies such as Jenkins and Github

• Competent with Agile development methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

• Exceptional communication skills to work seamlessly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Minimum Salesforce Certified App Builder, Platform Developer 1 required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Federal environment, preferably Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and/or Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

• Active DHS clearance, preferably with TSA

• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

• Additional relevant certifications: Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional, MuleSoft Certified Developer
