About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our international logistics and shipping processes. This role is crucial to supporting our fast-growing business, which ships over 400 containers annually.

This is a Full-Time remote role.

We are looking for a Logistics Manager specifically with these requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience in international logistics and shipping, with a strong track record in container shipment management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Experience in creating and implementing logistics systems and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and act decisively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in logistics software (ERPs, Netsuite preferred), shipping platforms, and standard business tools (e.g., Google Sheets/Excel, Google Workspace).
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and freight industry trends.
• Experience with Amazon Logistics, Seller Central, AGL (Amazon Global Logistics), and AWD (Amazon Warehousing and Distribution) is a plus.

Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):

• Oversee the booking and handling of container shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Review, prepare, and verify all shipping documentation to meet compliance requirements and ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and implement strategies to optimize logistical costs, improve lead times, and streamline operations.
• Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals.
• Design, implement, and refine systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency in international shipping and logistics.
• Work closely with internal teams, freight forwarders, and supply chain partners to resolve issues and maintain high service levels.
• Provide regular updates to the Supply Chain Director, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
