About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing and completing all platform-related administrative functions, including superannuation, investment, and income transactions.
Your contributions will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding client service and maintaining client satisfaction. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be vital to providing excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process applications, contributions, rollovers, switches, and withdrawals accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handle insurance and income stream (pensions) processing efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Manage investment transactions, including purchases, sales, corporate actions, and income, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Process daily mail and work, including scanning and indexing documents to maintain an organised and accessible filing system.
- Update clients’ portfolios with superannuation and investment-related transactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Reconcile portfolios, including cash and holdings, to maintain data integrity and provide accurate reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure that phone inquiries from both clients and advisers are promptly and professionally addressed, providing knowledgeable assistance and resolving issues effectively.
- Liaise with clients, advisers, custodians, brokers, and fund managers, fostering positive relationships and facilitating seamless communication.
- Contribute to miscellaneous projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Perform any additional tasks required by the manager to support team objectives and overall operational efficiency.
Desired Qualifications and Competencies
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable position.
- Applicable academic and industry background.
- Proficiency in investments and market understanding.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Aptitude for collaborating effectively in a team setting.
- Robust analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
