Backend Mlops (Remote)

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer with a strong focus on Python coding skills and interest in MLOps / DevOps to join our dynamic team.

The project will focus on building AI tools from scratch, selecting the right technologies and tools to build something flexible, scalable and powerful. The profile will be interacting with the ML team and the Research team to improve and expand the framework capabilities along the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python, adhering to best coding practices.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices, with a focus/interest on MLOps.
• Clear communication
• Evaluate open-source projects and encourage the use of the latest tools within the team.
• Utilize your knowledge of SQL and database management to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Work with cloud platforms to deploy and manage applications, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Create and maintain unit and functional tests.
• Document code effectively to ensure clarity and maintainability for future development.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in a Git environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development with a strong emphasis on Python.
• Passionate about coding, applying best practices and libraries.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of SQL and database management systems.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Software architecture for large scale systems.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and its implementation.
• Passion for open-source software and active participation in the community.
• Strong computer science fundamentals involving object-oriented design, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Ability to produce high-quality code documentation.

Nice To Have

• Interest or background in machine learning.
• Enthusiasm and contributions to the open-source community.
• Basic knowledge of the C/C++ is not required, but nice to have.
