OVERVIEW

At Orion Groups, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a passion for healthcare technology.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible to lead projects associated to construction (new hospitals/clinics, unit expansions, medical office buildings, etc.) and application portfolios.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving projects forward to set and sometimes aggressive deadlines and budgets.

• Manage project deliverables in ServiceNow (PPM), Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.

• Develop and maintain project management deliverables including project charters, RACIs, communication plans, test plans, and project schedules.

• Manage project resource plans in ServiceNow.

• Create the project budget and manage project finances.

• Drive project process through project meetings, minutes, task assignments, setting deadlines and follow ups.

• Holding resources accountable for deadlines.

• Identifying risks and issues; driving remediation of risks and resolution of issues.

• Reporting to portfolio and tower leaders.

• Maintain a close relationship with leadership and stakeholders providing regular reports, ad hoc reports, and addressing concerns.

• Manage subprojects and communicate to various levels (resources, leaders, stakeholders).

EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years’ experience of functional project management in the healthcare technology space.

• Experience with projects involving EMR/application builds for new construction projects such as hospitals, unit expansions, medical office building, or new clinics.

• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills since there will be constant communication high level executives while managing 50+ resources.

• Experience in project managing the applications of a construction projects (e.g. unit expansion, new hospital/clinic, medical office building, etc.) along with application portfolios.

• Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, de-escalate tension, and maintain a professional yet positive work environment.

• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.

• Experience with Smart Sheets, ServiceNow project management tools and Google Suite.

• Bachelor’s degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are preferred.
