Pre Litigation Case Manager (Remote)

Position Overview

The Pre-Litigation Case Manager will play a crucial role in managing cases before they enter litigation, ensuring that all pertinent information is collected and organized effectively. This position aims to provide exceptional client service while efficiently handling a caseload, maintaining communication with clients, medical providers, and insurers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a caseload of personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation
• Gather and organize medical records, police reports, and other relevant documentation
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other third parties as needed
• Utilize case management software (Filevine) to track case progress and deadlines
• Prepare and assist in the drafting of demand letters and other pre-litigation documentation
• Ensure accuracy in billing and calendaring of important case-related dates and deadlines
• Demonstrate responsiveness and punctuality in all communications and tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in case management, particularly in personal injury law
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims and medical records management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Exceptional client communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with a strong initiative and desire for long-term employment and growth
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software programs
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Experience with billing and calendaring in a legal context
