About The Role
We are looking for an experienced B2B Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team as a Channel Specialist Wine (Business Developer), based in Southwest Munster and reporting to the Head of Sales. Applicants should be based in Cork, Kerry or Limerick.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & business development: Manage new and existing customers to achieve quarterly sales targets and company KPIs. Proactively cold call new business opportunities and report monthly.
- Market understanding: Continuously develop an understanding of the market and increase business with existing clients through range expansion, training, promotional activity, and customer support.
- Client engagement: Create proposals and presentations for new business alongside. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers by agreeing on a call cycle and call process.
- Reporting & meetings: Report your territory at monthly team meetings, including sales updates, new business targeted/landed, promotional activity, competitor activity, and relevant company initiatives.
- Customer satisfaction: Manage all inquiries from your territory to achieve excellent customer satisfaction, ensuring orders are processed and deliveries made in full and on time.
- Training & events: Attend training sessions to increase your skills as a wine expert and train customers to sell our products. Manage customer tasting events and training sessions on the full Findlater portfolio. Take the lead on training sessions, wine tastings, and wine dinners as requested.
- Administrative duties: Ensure proficiency in reporting/CRM systems and complete any other duties as delegated by the Head of Sales.
What You’ll Have
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience in B2B sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Clear understanding of the wine business across all channels.
- WSET level 2 or 3 in wine.
- Defined strategy for new business hunting and existing business growth.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Impressive verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships through commercial awareness and a positive business attitude.
- A full clean driving license.

What We Offer
- Basic salary ranging from €45,000 to €55,000 depending on experience, plus a commission of up to €12,000.
