About Us
At RentX, we’re expanding beyond premium monthly rentals in Toronto. We are building an Online Travel Platform where users can seamlessly advertise and book properties. This platform will redefine how travellers connect with property owners.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and launch of this platform. This role provides an opportunity for significant career growth, with the potential to advance into the CTO and Co-Founder position as the platform scales.

Role Overview
The Technical Lead will:

• Lead full-stack development for the online travel platform, managing all stages of the application lifecycle.
• Oversee the project roadmap and ensure timely delivery while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Develop clean, scalable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align technical execution with business objectives.
• Implement innovative solutions to enhance the platform’s functionality and user experience.
• Guide technical decisions and provide leadership as the project scales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful full-stack projects, including portfolio examples.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in a leadership role, with the ability to guide technical teams and make critical decisions.
• Highly driven, self-motivated, and committed to delivering quality results.
• Experience in the Property Management and Hospitality field is a plus
• Experience with PMS platforms such as Hostaway and Guesty are a plus
