The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for multiple experienced Senior Account Managers/ Senior Design Specialists to join our team. This role works to support, develop and implement the Packaging Design Guidelines for the specific Woolworths Own Brand including: style guide development across all categories and pack formats and execution of packaging design related projects as agreed with the Head of Design and relevant Brand Manager. To act as brand guardian responsible for ensuring we deliver the best possible packaging design that resonates with our customers.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Head of Design, you will play a key role and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to lead the creative design process from brief development to design concept to photography – on brand and to time.
- Strong Creative Judgment: Ability to evaluate creative, ensuring creative meets the objectives of the brief and providing clear and constructive feedback
- Team leader; lead, support and coach a team of design specialists, providing leadership, guidance and feedback on what excellence in packaging design looks like, ensuring best in class and high quality output of work
- Be the voice of the customer, utilising customer insights to drive decision making and to deliver against objectives.
- Leading and championing the ongoing review, evolution and refinement of our WFC design process. Communicating and developing clear strategies and direction across the total Brand Chapter to elevate expertise and drive consistency in ways of working
Collaboration and development of ongoing partnerships across WFC, Commercial, Internal and external agencies and other key stakeholders.

You are design literate with exceptional project management skills and have qualifications in Design, Project Management, Marketing, Brand Management, Business or Commerce and 1-3 years experience in Design / Project Management/Account Service (client or agency side)/ Marketing / Buying / Retail / Operations.
If you have agency Account Management experience then this is your opportunity to gain client side experience.
