Senior Python Core Developer (Remote)

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Python Core Developer to join our remote team. As a Senior Python Core Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of core Python modules, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the system. Your expertise in Python will be essential for implementing efficient code solutions and addressing complex technical challenges. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture and enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of core Python modules
• Optimize and enhance the performance and scalability of Python libraries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture
• Address complex technical challenges related to Python core development
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Identify and implement solutions for improving system efficiency and performance
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Contribute to the documentation of core Python modules
• Stay updated with the latest Python advancements and best practices
• Collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Python Core Developer
• In-depth understanding of Python programming language and its core functionality
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Experience in optimizing and enhancing the performance of Python modules and libraries
• Proficiency in system design and architectural patterns
• Solid understanding of software development best practices and principles
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, like Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Python applications
• Experience with asynchronous programming in Python
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and libraries in Python
