What You Will Do:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Acquires, maintains, and expands subject matter expertise in Netwrix’ s software and the broad array of platforms it helps to protect.
- Embodies Netwrix’ s values as an ambassador to Netwrix’ s customers and prospects and ensures a successful delivery project leveraging Netwrix’ s Deployment Methodology.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to Netwrix’ s customers, working with client, channel partner, and internal stakeholders as necessary to identify and understand technical and security problems facing them, and offers solutions for how to tackle them using Netwrix’ s growing portfolio of software solutions.
- Works on projects of different sizes and complexities in parallel, some as part of a multi-person delivery team and others with relative autonomy. Keeps project stakeholders proactively informed of agendas, progress, and outcomes. Updates all details in Netwrix systems for optimal account management and technical knowledge documentation.
- Is organized, team-oriented and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks based on deadlines and urgency impact.
- Is energized by the challenge of planning, designing, building, executing, and perform knowledge transfer on custom reports, workflows, and integrations that enhance the value of the software for Netwrix’ s customers
- Provides constructive feedback to the Netwrix product team in the form of feature suggestions to improve end user experience, qualified problem tickets related to issues encountered in the field, and feedback on internal preview releases.
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
Technical Skills:
DLP Software Expertise: Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and managing DLP solutions from various vendors.
Network Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network segmentation.
Data Security Expertise: Knowledge of data classification schemes, data encryption methods, and data at rest/in transit/in use security protocols.
Operating Systems: Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and their security features.
Scripting and Programming: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating DLP tasks and potential basic programming knowledge for customization.
Regular Expressions: Understanding of regular expressions for crafting DLP content inspection rules.
Security Certifications:
- While not mandatory, possessing a relevant security certification can be a plus (eg., CISSP, CISA, CEH, CCSP).
Additional Skills:
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot DLP-related issues, analyze security logs, and investigate potential data breaches.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and security analysts.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details when configuring DLP policies and rules to ensure effectiveness and minimize false positives.
Staying Up-to-Date: Proactive approach to staying current with evolving DLP technologies, data security threats, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Bonus Skills:
Cloud Security Knowledge: Understanding of cloud security concepts and DLP solutions for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Incident Response Experience: Knowledge of incident response procedures and experience participating in security incident investigations.
Software Development Experience: Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) for potential DLP customization projects.
