What Are We Looking For

We are in search of a talented and versatile Project Manager for a Structural Restoration/Engineering firm who will be working with our client based in the United States. They are a premier restoration specialist with projects located in New York city. Trusted to restore and enhance historic and iconic buildings – preserving the heritage from the past.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for forecasting and managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner and within budget. We are seeking an excellent communicator who is a motivated, self-starter and detail-oriented to support the engineering staff. The ideal candidate will work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of their processes, systems and contract documents.

Your contributions will play a crucial role, owing the timelines of projects, enhancing the company’s communication with clients, vendors that will highlight the business development strategies in play. This role will have direct reporting to the CEO – excellent opportunity to join a scaling established business, room for growth and promotion.

This role is 100% work from home.

In this role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support field activities in organization, reporting and timely communication
  • Advocate for timely vendor/client responses
  • Employee time keeping monitoring, oversight for project budgets and productivity
  • Proposal generation, and project/customer log management
  • Follow-up proposals & inspection inquires
  • Report drafting, quantity matrix generation and upkeep, using Microsoft word and excel
  • Management of CRM
  • Answer phones, text messages, and emails, providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of company activities
  • Develop project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Gather and review bids from vendors, contractors, and consultants
  • Establish and manage project timelines
  • Organize project meetings and track progress
  • Administrative duties: Invoice generation, management, distribution and accounts receivable. Quickbooks, etc
  • Develop SOPs and templates for all tasks completed.

About You

Core qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience of Project Management – emphasis in civil engineering and/or construction
  • Multi-tasking is your jam
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with colleagues and clients
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in project management and supply chain within a technical environment.

  • Maintain documentation, including status reports, procurement records, and project schedules. Assist in preparing reports for senior management.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to analyze data and assist in making informed decisions.

  • Proficiency with entire Google Suite
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proficiency with reading plans
  • Candidate must also be able to demonstrate a professional demeanor, and have a clear understanding of project cost, schedule, documentation, and risk assessment principles, and able to multi?task.
