Ready to Drive Transfusion Management Solutions Adoption?
At Haemonetics, we are passionate about developing innovative medical technology products and services that transform the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of care. Join us in a collaborative, performance-driven culture where the best talent thrives.
What are you going to do in this role?
As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of Transfusion Management Solutions (software solutions and capital equipment) in the German market. Your expertise in sales, clinical application, business development, and project management will be key to achieving our sales targets and making a real impact.
Your mission includes driving product adoption and increasing usage of our Transfusion Management product lines, consistently achieving our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals. By leveraging your clinical and transfusion laboratory expertise, you’ll ensure our products reach standard care levels within our accounts.
You’ll develop and execute comprehensive account management plans that drive local access, superior sales growth, profit growth, and market share gains. Identifying and developing new sales projects, managing them to a successful close, and providing weekly reports on pipeline activities will be part of your dynamic role.
Building a community of national and regional product KOLs and contributing to strategic discussions will help shape our future success. With your strong market understanding, including clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and competitive knowledge, you’ll establish deep customer relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.
Visiting hospital accounts, establishing relationships with key decision makers, and training clinical champions will be integral to your role. You’ll drive standard care usage of our Transfusion Management systems, collaborate on evidence generation, and conduct on-site clinical training to ensure our customers are fully equipped.
Training new and existing sales staff on all product and clinical aspects, summarizing training sessions, and ensuring follow-up will be crucial. You’ll enhance your professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contributing to the development of tailored value propositions and sales tools, participating in exhibitions, conferences, and meetings to generate leads, and collaborating with marketing teams to translate customer feedback into clear product requirements will be essential.
You’ll enhance field implementation, assist sales and marketing management with specific training needs, support product demonstrations, and develop strong partnerships with regional teams to foster cross-functional engagement and collaboration.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
To excel in this role, you should have at least five years of strong sales and/or business development experience in the healthcare or medical device industry, with proven success in all aspects of the sales process. Experience in the Blood Transfusion industry is preferred.
A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the hospital LAB/ER/OR/ICU environment is essential, with clinical knowledge in transfusion laboratory workflows preferred. You’ll need strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with technical and clinical knowledge in medical procedural techniques, particularly in the transfusion business or laboratory software solutions market.
A Master’s degree in Life Science, Medical Engineering, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
Your experience in consultative selling, ability to create influential relationships, and proven track record in driving product adoption will be vital. You’ll need effective interpersonal skills, the ability to interact with clinicians at a high level, and a talent for developing customer relationships.
