We are looking for an OBO Construction Project Manager with experience in government/federal construction projects, Design & Build, OCONUS/CONUS background, and an active Secret Federal DoD Clearance is required.

*This role requires eligibility to obtain, or possession of, a U.S. government security clearance.*

(If you only have a Secret and not a Top Secret or no clearance, an interim may be provided for the time being.)

Job Details

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to help one of our clients in El Salvador!

For this role, you MUST be able to relocate to El Salvador, be a U.S citizen, and hold an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ability to relocate to and work in El Salvador for 1-5 years
• Negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders
• Review and update construction schedules, plans, and specifications
• Correspond with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners through verbal and written communication
• Ensure proper job documentation and project budgets are prepared and maintained
• Keep higher management informed of project status
• Assist in change order proposals and subcontractor scope of work
• Conduct bid preparations, site visits, and solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3-5 years or 7-10 years of construction PM experience
• Strong customer service, accounting, and computer skills
• Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO)
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic project management methodologies
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate staff
• Effective communication (oral and written) and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with gathering, integrating information, and facilitating meetings
• US Citizenship required, ability to pass a federal background investigation; construction knowledge and mathematical aptitude
• Spanish fluency is a HUGE plus
