Sales Representative/Manager – West

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales professional to lead our West Coast sales and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding targets and fostering positive relationships with clients.

MedGEO is a healthtech solution used by ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals to optimize clinical workflows in the operating room. We alleviate the documentation burden in the operating room to improve patient safety and operational efficiency. With decades of first-hand experience in the operating room, the MedGEO team bring a unique combination of expertise, innovation, and experience to frontline healthcare providers.

The Role

As a Sales Representative, you are responsible for driving the sales growth of MedGEO. Primary activities of this role include generating new business leads, developing strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, advising customers on the value of the MedGEO solution, and guiding customers through their purchasing process to a successful close. Your target customer base will include surgery centers, provider-owned surgical specialty practices, community hospitals, and health systems. You will be a core member of the commercial team and work closely with our staff of surgeons, nurses, and product leaders to meet or exceed quota. MedGEO is rapidly scaling with a proven solution, and we are looking for a high energy, proactive, and experienced sales leader to play a key role in our continued growth.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Generation: Generate and qualify prospective customers through various channels (e.g., peer networks, industry events, partners, customer referrals, investor referrals, LinkedIn, cold calling, etc.).
  • Subject Matter Expert: Be an expert in the ways the MedGEO solution can bring value to customers. Properly set customer expectations on what they can achieve with MedGEO.
  • Coach Customers: Effectively lead customers through complex, consultative sales process. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers to introduce MedGEO’s solutions. Help prospects quantify the business case for investment.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed targets set by MedGEO. Routine and timely follow up with prospective customers to drive deals to close. Effectively create compelling events aligned with the customer’s timeline. Lead customer champions through their internal budgeting, legal, security, and procurement processes.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and setting proper expectations. Collaborate with internal resources (e.g., Customer Success, Product and Tech teams, etc.) to improve how we bring value to customers.
  • Account Management: Manage client accounts, including contract negotiations, renewals, and upselling opportunities.
  • Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and potential opportunities.
  • Reporting: Provide insights to management as needed on sales forecasts, lead generation activities, outreach efforts, and results.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in a Sales/Business Development role achieving exceptional results exceeding sales targets
  • 5+ years healthcare sales experience. Preference for experience selling medical devices in ambulatory surgical center setting and/or SaaS healthtech solutions
  • In depth understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including the dynamics and challenges faced by surgery centers and large health enterprises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and establish rapport with clinicians and stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to sell on outcomes
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate complex software solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client relationships across different sales stages
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of time

Location: Los Angeles or the greater area (remote)

The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 plus commission and equity. This salary range may vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
