Account Manager Sea | Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence | Singapore

Job Overview

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in SEA (Singapore or Malaysia). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling software solutions within asset-intensive industries. Primary focus will be SMB market, however there will be also opportunities for Tiers 1 account and <1 B USD company.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of sales processes, CRM management, and the ability to work collaboratively with pre-sales, business development, and services teams. It will also encompass close collaboration with partners Ecosystem, depending on the business case.

As a global organisation, we embrace a mindset of working together from anywhere. This role offers flexibility to be based anywhere in Singapore or Malaysia, with a truly remote working arrangement and option for occasional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities by identifying and engaging with potential clients
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximize sales potential within assigned territories, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and other countries, based on opportunities.
  • Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Manage the sales pipeline through accurate forecasting and CRM rigor.
  • Conduct self-prospecting activities to identify new leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate on Account Management for large customers, with a prospective and becoming Account Manager in the future
  • Write and present detailed proposals that align with client needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with business development and services teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement.

Education / Qualifications

  • 5-15 years of experience in software sales, with a focus on enterprise asset management solutions.
  • Fluency in both English and Malay, Vietnamese, Thai.
  • Experience with sales software companies.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, CRM management, and account planning.
  • Proven ability to self-prospect and generate new leads.
  • Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
  • Autonomous and highly organized with a commitment to achieving sales targets.
  • Capacity to travel in the 4 territories targeted 25 – 50% of the time.
