Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of brand performance and evaluate the competitive landscape utilizing diverse data sources such as POS, panel data, and syndicated data to attain a holistic understanding of the market.
- Offer actionable and customer-centric insights alongside category-level guidance to identify business opportunities that drive category sales and strengthen customer relationships.
- Explore and capitalize on growth opportunities with a thorough understanding of distribution channels and customer marketing requirements.
- Transform consumer insights into tangible commercial opportunities, including the activation of significant concepts at the retailer level.
- Lead analytic initiatives for customer accounts, utilizing retailer-specific data platforms (e.g., Retail Link, Target POL, Albertsons) to inform strategic choices.
- Oversee POS tracking, inventory management, and forecasting efforts to align with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to Line Review insights and strategy in collaboration with sales leadership.
- Provide consistent reporting, including monthly scorecards and weekly updates for key customers.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to monitor inventory and analyze sales data to evaluate brand performance, identifying further growth opportunities.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in shopper insights or a related domain.
- Strong proficiency in synthesizing and visualizing data from multiple sources to create a coherent narrative.
- Background in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, encompassing ethnography, consumer journeys, focus groups, surveys, and concept testing.
- Proven ability to forge and manage relationships with third-party research organizations.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong collaborative influence with the ability to work effectively with leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent project management capabilities, with adept problem-solving skills.
- A growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data, data science, or a related field; advanced degrees such as an MBA are advantageous.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience engaging with retailer data portals (e.g., Walmart, Target) and syndicated data sources like IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, Kantar, etc.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies, translating insights into actionable business plans.

- Competitive salary range of (125,000-)135,000 + bonus.
