Overview:
The HR Help Desk Specialist is responsible for being the first line of contact (HR Help Desk, phone, live online chat and email) for the Human Resources function and employee base utilizing subject matter expert HR knowledgebase and HR systems to assist employees in completing their human resource transactions in accordance with service standards. They perform a broad number of administrative/clerical duties in support of the Human Resources Department. Additionally, the HR Help Desk Specialist will utilize the HR Shared Services Oracle HCM portal (HRSolutions) to receive, track and resolve inquiries from its customers resolving each case in earnest before escalating to the next support tier.
This role is a temporary full-time position.
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our dynamic HR Shared Services team, you will be able to enhance your skills and build your career in a rapidly evolving People & HR Technology space. This will involve:
Perform initial triage, intake and resolution of the full range of HR inquiries including but not limited to, HR programs, services, policies, Benefits Administration, Payroll/Time and attendance, Training and Development, HR Information Systems, Labor Relations and Employee Services, Work Life Programs and Leave Programs
Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information. Provide support during employee transitions: on-boarding, off-boarding, FMLA/STD/LTD, life insurance, etc. Responds to employee needs in a quick & effective manner
Determines the priority level of transactions and inquiries; proactively escalates to the appropriate next tier group/individual on the employee’s behalf to ensure timely resolution of the matter/ concern
Researching and analyzing root causes of human resources issues, resolve employee issues with a systematic approach. Coordination of resolution between the necessary departments and communicating of resolution to employee
Supports (develop and maintain content) HRSolutions knowledge management and sharing activities/cross training and collaboration
Maintain current knowledge of all CAES HR programs and services to facilitate first customer contact resolution
Data entry of employee information into Oracle HCM and ERP/time recording systems
Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as leave of absence documents, tuition reimbursements, etc.
Administration of Human Resource System. Basic one-on-one HR system help as needed (Oracle HCM (ESS & MSS), iCIMS, ADP, etc.)
Qualifications:

You will combine your strong customer service and interpersonal skills with creative and critical thinking. To join us you’ll need:
Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate or GED
4+ years’ experience in a Human Resources
1+ years’ experience with a HRIS system
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years’ relevant experience in HR CoE environment or HR Shared Services, providing Tier 1 support
Salary Range: $22.00- $27.00 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
