TreeholeHK is a social enterprise building Resilience for the Times for Hongkongers.

We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to lead the technical development of MindForest, our AI-powered mental health platform. As the primary technical resource, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end development while working closely with product and psychology teams.

Job Duties

• Technical Development
• Lead full-stack development of the MindForest mobile app
• Design and implement scalable architecture
• Integrate and optimize AI/ML components
• Maintain code quality and technical documentation
• Technical Leadership
• Make key technical decisions and architectural choices
• Collaborate with product team on technical feasibility
• Manage external technical vendors when needed
• Provide technical mentorship as the team grows
• Product Development
• Work with psychology experts to implement evidence-based features
• Contribute to product strategy from a technical perspective
• Ensure app security and user data privacy
• Optimize app performance and user experience

Your Qualities

Knowledge

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience and deep understanding of mobile app development architecture and best practices
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML integration in mobile applications
• Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle
• Solid grasp of security principles and data privacy requirements
• Preferred: Understanding of psychology-based applications and user experience
• Preferred: Experience in the development of HealthTech/ Digital Health Related Product

Skills & Ability

• Strong expertise in Flutter/ FlutterFlow development using for sophisticated mobile interfaces
• Proven proficiency in Django-based RESTful API development and backend architecture
• Demonstrated experience in LLM implementation, including prompting, guardrails, and fine-tuning
• Ability to lead and execute full development lifecycle from conception to deployment
• Preferred: Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
• Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) and deployment strategies
• Preferred: Experience with Flutter testing frameworks (Widget testing, Integration testing, Mockito) / Django testing frameworks (PyTest, Django Test Client, Factory Boy)
• Preferred: Experience with agile development methodologies
