Summary
The Humanitarian Impact Institute (HII) is dedicated to increasing the impact of humanitarian and emergency responses, as well as development programs globally.
HII is seeking an energetic, fast learning generalist with experience in IT, HR and the systems of an SME to manage our corporate support services. This is a hands on role for someone happy to work full remotely and contribute to the growth of our dynamic organisation.
In this role, no two days will be the same. You will be managing the day-to-day as well as delivering longer term projects to enhance and evolve our corporate systems.
The Role
The role involves managing our corporate support services (excluding finance):
- ICT – Managing all of our IT and communications systems including software platforms, integrations and hardware; as well as cyber security.
- HR – Managing all of our HR processes including performance and development processes, contracting, recruitment and supporting systems.
- Legal – Ensuring we have the correct insurances, registrations and contractual compliance tools in place.
- Security, Safety and Risk – Managing and enhancing the implementation of our security systems (both physical and cyber) and risk management processes.
- Training – Ensuring our training services are operating with the right trainers and that quality and trainee satisfaction standards are achieved.
- Marketing – This is a split responsibility with our Business Development team. Specific responsibilities include SEO, graphics and brand management.
- Efficiency – You are captain efficiency, able to identify and rationalise expenses across the organisation with the imagination to implement simple systems to ensure our teams have what they need when they need it.
This is a central role in our organisation reporting directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will be working across business areas and ensure all day-to-day tasks as well as long term corporate projects are delivered to agreed KPIs.
