Project Manager Sap Hr Technology Projects (Remote)

Summary

The position requires a seasoned Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of complex software application projects. This role will serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects, interfacing with technical and business teams, developing project plans, and ensuring the successful execution of deliverables. Expertise in SAP HR modules, Agile methodologies, and SDLC practices is essential, along with the ability to manage high-visibility programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of assigned projects from concept to implementation.
• Define project scope, develop work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource plans.
• Lead project meetings, track progress, and analyze project performance.
• Ensure quality standards are adhered to and review project deliverables for compliance.
• Manage vendor deliverables, integrating their tasks into the project lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to team members.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies while resolving project issues.
• Prepare and deliver status updates to senior management.
• Oversee project efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Required

• 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in software application development.
• 5-7 years of experience managing technology or software development projects.
• Proficiency in SAP HR modules (e.g., OM/PA, eCareer, EHS).
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to operate in hybrid Agile and traditional project management roles.
• Experience with change management, configuration management, and capacity planning.
• Expertise in risk management and issue resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.

Preferred

• PMP Certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow and VersionOne.
• Knowledge of SOX Controls & Compliance.

• Experience leading cross-functional and multi-vendor teams.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• PMP Certification is highly desirable.
