Data Engineer (Remote)

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Data Engineer to join their team. They are looking for mid-level to Senior Data Engineers to assist with building out their supply chain data strategy. This person will be responsible for building ETL pipelines, data models (in SQL/Google Cloud Platform), Python, Airflow for orchestration, and will be working with various data sources (oracle, Cassandra, Google Cloud Platform/Biguery etc.) On a daily basis, the Data Engineer will be doing extremely complex SQL and curating of data for various orgs with the client. Experience in a fast paced, agile environment is a must, with retail experience being a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extremely strong in SQL (be able to tune queries properly, write complex queries, join tables, etc.)
• Experience with ETL processes
• Python experience
• Google Cloud Platform experience W/BigQuery)
• Experience creating pipelines for data extraction, cleansing, and movements (airflow)
• Strong communication skills – ability to communicate with the business and stake holders
• Experience in retail a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
