We are seeking a Digital Manager based in Canberra. Â

Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Manager and relevant stakeholders to identify and deliver digital services, Â e.g.-
- Support the development of GRDC’s overarching digital strategy including the GRDC website and GRDC project websites.
- Designing, procuring and managing (including upload of content to platforms) all GRDC digital projects within the approved budget.
- Accountability for managing all aspects of the GRDC’s online environment including content publishing, website performance and supplier managementÂ
- Source and coordination of internal content contributions and announcements
- Developing and managing the GRDCs digital libraries.
- Preparation, proofing copy and design, editorial of all digital communications that fall within the portfolio and seek approval from the relevant internal stakeholder on all materials to be released.
- Assist the Senior Manager in the identification of potential digital opportunities within the Australian grain production industry via gap analysis.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members are aligned with project goals and standards
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive digital experience improvements, gathering feedback, and iterating on plans based on evolving needs

Candidate Profile:
- Qualifications in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent
- Demonstrated minimum 5 years in a similar capacity with strong understanding of digital trends, UX/UI principles, and analytics.
- Proven understanding of commercial principles including finance, brand management, IP management, licensing and deal development.
- Proven experience in the procurement of products and services
- Ability to research, curate and write engaging copy for an online audience
- Strong understanding of CMS platforms, basic HTML/CSS, and analytics tools, and of digital marketing across all platforms
- Highly developed presentation, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence, motivate and develop others.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be prepared to travel as and when required.
- Must be willing to undergo all Pre-employment Medical checks.
- Must have a valid Australian Driver’s Licence as deemed necessary.
