Job Description
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones. Monitor project progress and address any deviations or risks proactively.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members. Effectively communicate project updates, expectations, and deliverables to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and facilitate collaboration to ensure efficient project execution. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement contingency plans when necessary to minimize the impact on project objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Establish and implement quality control processes and procedures. Conduct regular quality inspections and resolve any issues to maintain project quality.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budget and expenses. Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement appropriate measures to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, including project status, milestones achieved, and issues encountered. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and change requests. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and documentation requirements.
Essential Skills
- Must have worked on Large Scale Enterprise Projects
- Must have dealt with International Customers
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) skills in English
- Flexible to work in different time zones (Australia to US West)
- Skills – PMP, SCRUM, Scheduling, WBS, Project Plan, Documentation, etc.
- Technical – Knowledge of Systems, Cloud, Networks, Integrations, API, Performance, Testing, Compliances etc.
Required Qualification
- BS/BSc or above in Computer Science
- 8+ years of extensive experience in Project Management
