We are looking for an Electrical Project Manager in power systems engineering, who will lead and manage complex projects related to the design, and implementation of electrical power distribution systems – with a team of specialists in Poland. The role includes acting as a close liaison to a similar team in Denmark and facilitating cross-border collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple power systems engineering projects.
- Support the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.
- Review designs, specifications, and other technical documents for quality and adherence to industry and project standards.
- Support the management of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to project resources and timelines.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost control.
- Prepare and present project financial updates to the project management office.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and engineering staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in project management within the power systems sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of power systems design, operation, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Good to have: professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
