Position Overview:

TechTorch is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Program Manager to lead and deliver complex, data-centric projects and initiatives at scale. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale data transformation programs, leveraging deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and advanced project management skills. As a Senior Data Program Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the success of high-impact data initiatives, guiding global teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership

• Define and drive the vision for data programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
• Lead large-scale data projects, managing scope, budget, timelines, and resources with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing regular updates, insights, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Data Strategy and Execution

• Design and implement comprehensive data collection and management strategies to ensure high-quality and reliable datasets.
• Oversee the harmonization of disparate data sources into unified, actionable platforms for decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for data security, governance, and ethical usage throughout the program lifecycle.

Platform Modernization

• Spearhead the migration of legacy and on-premises systems (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, marts) to modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
• Collaborate with technical architects to deliver robust, scalable platforms for advanced analytics and AI-powered applications.

Analytics and Data Products

• Manage high-impact BI/analytics programs, delivering dashboards, reporting solutions, and predictive modeling tools that empower business decisions.
• Support data science initiatives, translating complex insights into actionable strategies for clients.

Monitoring and Value Demonstration

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the business impact of data programs.
• Develop frameworks for ongoing project monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Data Lifecycle Management

• Oversee projects related to the end-to-end management of data assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Program Manager or Senior Program Manager in data-driven initiatives, managing multi-million-dollar projects.
• Deep expertise in data platform modernization, cloud migrations, and integration of diverse data sources.
• Strong proficiency in data lifecycle management, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with BI/analytics tools, data visualization platforms, and data science workflows.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage risks and deliver high-quality, timely results in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certification in project management (PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with predictive modeling, AI/machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions.
• Strong background in mentoring and leading cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
