We are working with an organisation who is a true leader in their field. They are accelerating product development and building the fastest-developing platform in their sector. Focusing on high-volume releases, creative problem-solving, and staying ahead of competition in a growing space, they are in need of a talented Backend Developer to join their growing business and team. This organisation are seeking someone who has an excellent understanding of Python, particularly Django REST Framework, and is a natural problem-solver, able to work with drive and autonomy in a high performance team.

Requirements for Success:

• Deep expertise in developing APIs, with a strong emphasis on using Django REST Framework.
• Proven ability to design, build, and support high-performance API services capable of handling substantial traffic loads.
• Comprehensive understanding of Django, including its ORM, views, signals, and implementing best practices for security.
• Skilled in writing unit tests with Pytest, ensuring robust test coverage and reliable code.
• Familiar with using Celery for processing background tasks and managing asynchronous workflows.
• Proficient in utilising Docker to containerize applications and oversee isolated development environments.
• Strong command of Git for version control, facilitating collaborative workflows and conducting code reviews.
