About Your New Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, guiding our software development projects through all stages of the development lifecycle. This role is pivotal in maintaining our award-winning momentum by building and optimizing our web applications’ user interfaces using various platforms with an emphasis in Python programming. Having a strong technical background in both back-end and front-end development is a must. You will have the opportunity to lead a small team but should be an engineer first. This is a 100% Remote, Full-Time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both front-end and back-end applications.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by implementing best practices.
• Perform code reviews, application builds, and mentor junior developers.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Leverage database expertise to design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Participate in code reviews, freely giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Implement automated build and release definitions.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner.
• Research new and innovative technologies and discuss the pros and cons of adopting them.

What You’ll Need For Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience coding in Python using both procedural and object-oriented methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• A portfolio of past projects and code samples is a plus.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

77,000 – 143,000 USD per year(Remote – United States)
