Companies use our blockchain in a wide spectrum of industries and applications – from games and NFTs all the way to certificates for seafarers and carbon markets.

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX designer to be a part of the Concordium journey of innovation to create solutions that make a lasting impact.

It is the first blockchain with identification built into the protocol to meet regulatory requirements with the ability to build fully decentralized applications for the web using Rust-based smart contracts.

Our new Senior UI/UX Designer will be part of the Product team, led by our Director of Product located in Copenhagen, and will be reporting to our Lead Service Designer.

🧩Key responsibilities

• Drive the design projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality designs.
• Strategize, plan, and implement new and optimized user interface designs to ensure user-centric solutions.
• Close cross team collaboration with our engineers and product team.
• Troubleshooting and debugging frontend issues
• Optimizing the frontend for maximum speed and scalability

🎓 Qualifications

• +5 years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
• Strong visual craft (we use Figma)
• An interest in/curiosity about blockchain or financial technology (first-hand experience is a plus but not a necessity)
• A lot of self-drive, who can work closely with people from Product, Business, and Tech teams to define and execute their own work
• Open to learning from and discussing ideas with the team
• Great communication skills
• Prototyping skills – from rough&dirty to high-fidelity
• Good sense for industry trends on UI&UX
• Experience in Usability testing is a plus
• Experience building and maintaining design systems
• Solid Design process and good structure in thought and execution
