Description

We’re seeking a machine learning engineer with substantial post-graduation experience who excels at bridging research and production applications. You’ll work on cutting-edge language models and enterprise data processing systems, with a focus on scalable, production-ready solutions.

This isn’t a typical ML engineering position focused solely on model development. You’ll need to:

• Design and implement end-to-end ML systems that work with real enterprise data
• Balance theoretical elegance with practical constraints
• Move quickly from proof-of-concept to production
• Work closely with domain experts to understand and solve complex business problems
• Contribute to core architecture decisions that will shape our platform’s future

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of ML pipelines for document understanding and classification
• Design and implement scalable solutions for multilingual text processing
• Optimize large language model performance for specific business domains
• Work with cloud services (Azure) and containerized deployments
• Build and maintain production ML systems with high reliability requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of post-graduation professional experience building ML systems in production environments
• Proven track record implementing ML systems that solve real business problems
• Strong Python programming and ML framework expertise (PyTorch preferred)
• Production experience with LLMs, document processing, and NLP
• Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms (Azure) and MLOps practices
• Substantial background in building data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
• History of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment

Additional qualifications

• Strong bias for action – you get things done
• Professional experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures
• Deep knowledge of enterprise document processing and analytics
• Proven ability to make smart trade-offs between perfection and practicality
