Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer for an important digital product studio focused on startups and enterprises, with headquarters is in Miami, Florida, but employees work remotely from all around the world. Their main locations are Miami, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires. We are seeking talented software experts to join their team near one of this locations.

About the Role:

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in our client’s product development, taking it from MVP to Beta, with a focus on video-related work using Next.js, Node.js, and Python. This engagement will have you working for our service called Integrated Roles, which operates in a model similar to staff augmentation and is for a 4-month term. Our client is a small but scrappy startup, backed by some big voices in tech, and is building a video editing and transcription product. We are searching for a full-stack engineer to plug into our client and who has experience working on transcription capabilities, with a focus on creating an editing suite. Familiarity with streaming apps and transcription features is beneficial. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and managing servers. Experience with video editing features, such as clipping, resizing, cropping, and rotating videos, is highly valued. You’ll also work on AI projects, fine-tuning semantic search and enabling RAG pipelines for videos/photos. Regularly updating documentation and unit tests for QA will be part of your responsibilities, along with adhering to development procedures like pull requests, branch naming, and time tracking on ClickUp Tickets. If the engagement goes well, there is a possibility for this role to transition from contract to hire.

Onboarding:

If you’re located in Buenos Aires, we would like you to come to the office twice a week. If you’re elsewhere, onboarding will be conducted via video call. We expect a quick onboarding process, enabling you to contribute to projects swiftly after starting.

Team Structure and Role Integration:

This position is for our Integrated Roles client, offering a contract-to-full-time opportunity. You will be embedded within the client’s team, working closely with them to deliver impactful solutions. This structure allows for a seamless transition to a full-time role based on performance and mutual agreement.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience working as a Full-Stack Developer
• 2+ years of experience working actively with Python
• Advanced English proficiency (important)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work 9am – 5pm EST

Technical Requirements:

• Develop and deploy Python backend code with our web and mobile applications
• Experience with React for front-end development
• Experience with video-related work is a plus
• Expertise in writing and integrating REST APIs
• GIT + GitHub experience
• Experience working with Linux OS is a must
• Experience with MySQL is a must
• Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred
• Experience working with Docker is preferred
• Experience with Terraform is preferred
• Experience with unit testing is preferred
• Must have AWS experience
• Experience with CI/CD
• Any expertise in AI, particularly in fine-tuning semantic search and enabling RAG pipelines, is a plus
