In this role, you will support key platforms, such as ERP, CRM, and Magento, providing leadership and oversight for technical development for these platforms and ensuring progress is made against established roadmaps, aligned to business objectives.

• Address high priority gaps for development needs to support integration and technical leadership across core systems
• Serve as the primary technical architect to design, develop, maintain, operate and support technologies supporting major functions (ex: e-Commerce, ERP, CRM, customer-facing applications)
• Evaluate and select optimal software design and development approaches to achieve desired business outcomes and maximize benefit realization
• Drive completion of assigned system implementations and integrations, including all project phases such as initiation, analysis, design, build, test, and deployment. Collaborate with software development staff and business throughout multiple project life cycles.
• Review, analyze, and modify the programming systems including coding, testing, and debugging to support the organization’s system ecosystem, ensuring that software can be completely integrated into the technical landscape
• Lead software integration, maintaining technical documentation and leading continuous improvement efforts such as design reviews and code reviews
• Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple channels, including DevOps Engineering teams, and become a trusted member of the assigned technical teams.
• Oversee delivery of quality code adhering to standards and methodologies
• Formulate system design using best practices, analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequence of design
• Develop application testing procedures, programming options and documentation for upgrades and new product releases prior to dissemination. Ensure all application development work is consistent with programming standards and best practices
• Ensure development of optimized coding processes and system designs as needed, training others on best practices.

What you will bring to the role:

• BA in application development, technology or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 10 or more years working leading the full stack development of assigned technologies, with experience of at least two full life cycle technical implementations of distributed systems
• Strong technical knowledge of an object-oriented programming language.
• Demonstrated strength with web technologies, including REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, JSON and JavaScript
• Demonstrated experience of building distributed technology solutions on cloud technologies
• Excellent understanding of the software development cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with systems integration preferred
• Experience working with and managing vendors independently, including offshore partners
• Ability to partner with complex business functions to understand current and future needs and create clear deliverables
• Solid understanding, plus application, of various standards, frameworks and methodologies
• Analytical thinker with experience in qualitative and qualitative analytics
• Ability to oversee and execute multiple projects, teams, and individuals with a proactive and adaptive mindset
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actions
• Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals in a team environment
• Strong ability to think creatively
• Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
