- Develop automated test ideas, feature test plans, scripts and expected results from story summaries / Manage, author, and execute automated test scenarios.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the test framework and automated tests, while maintaining a high level of code quality.
- Document detailed test cases in Xray TCM software based off technical design specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of Quality Assurance and Testing to the less experienced members of the team when required.
- Document and maintain automation practices and knowledge into Confluence.
- Participate in Business Analytics meetings and provide early feedback, identify problems or gaps that have not been covered.
- Lead and provide estimates, formalise release plans, and implementation schedules/dependencies.
- Support project and Service Delivery management in project estimation by defining, estimating work-break-downs and provide technical support to the existing automation test frame works.
- Write detailed defects, including specific steps to replicate, screen shots or videos.
- Promote Quality Assurance, including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Design, maintain and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders and provide progress summaries on all test activities (written and verbal) where required.
- Communicate implementation issues, delays, and mitigation plans.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
- ISTQB Certifications
- 5 to 10 years’ experience creating automated solutions for deployments and builds.
- Extensive experience as an automation developer in test with a good appreciation of Agile testing and test automation with excellent test design and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical and testing skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
- Demonstrated experience with automated tests and continuous integration frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium and Protractor
- Demonstrated Experience with defect reporting and tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Demonstrated experience with test management tools such as Jenkins and Test Xray.
- Demonstrated experience within CI/CD environment with experience in pipeline design and implementation of automation framework.
- Demonstrated experience of mentoring and coaching team members.
- Strong background in software testing fundamentals with test and defect management experience using JIRA, with proven experience in driving issues to resolution.
- Strong testing analytical and technical skills which will help build the overall team’s capabilities and skills.
- Strong influencing skills and negotiation skills to gain management buy-in on ideas and concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups; Communicate with project team, management, and stakeholders.
- Lead teams consisting of cross-functional, global groups, assign responsibility to team members to develop technical automation solutions.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience with Jenkins.
- Experience with Typescript.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups; Communicate with project team, management, and stakeholders.
- Lead teams consisting of cross-functional, global groups, assign responsibility to team members to develop technical automation solutions.
- Working knowledge and exposure to cloud, containers, knowledge on public clouds like AWS.
- Familiarity with any cloud based continuous testing platforms.
- Good experience in native mobile application testing and automation.
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge around BDD, Cucumber and testing concepts.
- Familiar with JIRA/Confluence.
- Possess strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using Postman and Soap UI testing tools.
