Senior Javascript Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team and play a critical role in enhancing the client’s app that tens of thousands of clients will use in real-time. As our subject matter expert on JS Software development, you will not only directly contribute but also help DM and Architect to propose the best solution to the client. In this role, you will develop the backend on Node.js or any other programming language that will receive the messages from the client app and forward it to the testing app. If you are passionate about JS development and have a strong problem-solving ability, we invite you to be part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on JS Software development, contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions
• Collaborate with DM and Architect to propose the best solution to the client
• Develop the backend on Node.js or any other programming language that will receive the messages from the client app and forward it to the testing app
• Enhance the client’s app that tens of thousands of clients will use in real-time
• Ensure the quality of software development, including code reviews and testing
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development

Requirements

• Senior JS developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development
• Experience with React/Node.js, demonstrating your expertise in these technologies
• Experience with web application architectures, integration of data sources including databases, XML, JSON, and REST services
• Practical experience in Linux and docker, showcasing your knowledge of deployment and containerization
• Strong problem-solving ability, enabling you to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
• Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
