We are currently partnering with an innovative digital marketplace transforming the way restaurants and retailers connect with customers. The platform enhances online presence, expands reach, and drives sales by offering seamless solutions tailored to our partners’ needs, particularly within the Sports industry. They are currently scaling and seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join the team and play a pivotal role in the growth of the business.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will lead end-to-end sales efforts, focusing on onboarding new restaurant and retail partners onto our platform. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing company and make a significant impact within a dynamic and competitive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential restaurant and retail partners to join our platform.
  • Sales Execution: Oversee the full sales cycle, including outreach, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Client Acquisition: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in both the restaurant and retail sectors.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to ensure competitiveness.
  • Partnership Development: Craft and execute strategies to attract high-value partners and onboard them seamlessly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with the broader company objectives.
  • Reporting: Track performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in digital marketplaces, technology platforms, or related industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with both restaurant and retail sectors, with experience working with or selling to these industries.
  • Sales Skills: Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and own the sales process.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
